"JUST SOME MESSAGES FROM SHARON'S HEART"

In His Care…
He placed His hand upon my shoulder
And a chill ran down my spine…
It
was the warmth and love you see
That, for the love of
all mankind…
I
did not see His face nor see Him as
a body…
The
brightness of His Holiness
Was not fancy nor was it gaudy…
I was struck blind in all His glory
I felt as though my heart would burst
From His gentle voice and loving story…
I
knew that by His Grace,
I would never thirst…
I
always new I had another Father
One much greater than the one on earth…
I
knew he was a gentle one
For it was He who gave me life
And saved my soul by rebirth…
There
is no one or thing more precious
Than being loved beyond compare…
As
I sat upon my earthly Father’s lap
And now bow before my heavenly Father
As He erases all of my
despair…
No
anger or no vileness
No temper does He have….
He
only gives and shares His love
To those who have made Him glad…
Oh,
such wonderment I tell you
Oh, such wholeness I do feel…
When
in His arms He has held me
And in His Grace, there is no repeal…

And There Goes A Hero
They
fly in peace and in harms way
They deliver food, clothing and people to stay…
They
hold a hand and grab and runThese are the hero’s of each and everyone…
They
give a shot and pound a chest
They tell families of their loved ones last request…
They
handcuff, give tickets and rescue the harmed
They even chase criminals in any alarm…
They
answer calls without a look
They call out others who hook and book…
They
make those calls to homes with care
And calmly ask, “Is your mommy there”…
They
set up tents and cots and food
They listen to all who have lost their home…
They
hold a hand and give a dime
But most of all they give free of their time…
They
setup hoses and run up ladders
They put out fires with whatever matters…
They
pick kittens out of trees
They are even noted to remove killer bee’s…
Be
it rain or snow or sleet or dark of night
These hero’s never leave due to fright…
They
deliver whatever they have in style
And sometimes they have to walk a long hard mile…
To
be a “hero” is not “job” set
It’s the person within that’s the best bet…
God
has given each and everyone
A love for a daughter, a brother, just anyone…
Someone
who rescues a wee little bird
A new born calf or a lost soul or a herd…
A
person who comforts someone in distress
Or aids in some way to help lessen life’s stress…
OH
a Hero, there are many around
Those who are humble and spiritually sound…
But
we have misplaced our thoughts on caring
We have even forgotten the art of true sharing…
A
Hero is not to be taken lightly
They are to be treasured and loved
And held on to tightly…
A
Hero is to be prayed for and loved and respected
Given the same time they need when they rescued…
God
gave us many Hero’s
To step in and lend a hand…
And
search the whole world over
To keep safe; woman, child and man…
God
lives and breaths in everyone
And lends his hand to one and all…
So
it seems only right to say
God is there too, when those Hero’s also call…

“AND IN HIS TIME…”
The
striking difference in our time and HIS
is that we look too far forward in our days...
But
our Lord, HE does want us to live in HIS time
And live each day as though it were the last of always…
We
are lovingly put on this earth by our LordAnd are given all that we need…
But
in “our” ultimate wisdom as humans
We live our lives in servings of immeasurable greed…
HE
gave us the moon, the sun and the stars
And the expanse of the whole universe…
HE
gave us the knowledge to travel afar
And the planet to care for and nurse…
As
we travel to the Moon and then on to Mars
And send satellites around in outer space…
We
are awe struck at the expanse of the universe
And the wholeness of Gods ultimate grace…

A day without the Lord
Is
like Adam without Eve
Cain without Able
And all with the ability given
To be truthful or deceive…
A
day without the Lord
Is like Noah without his ark
And the people from the country
Who thot Noah’s ark was just a lark!!
A
day without the Lord
Is like the sun without a sky
A sky without a cloud
A cloud without some rain
And a human without a brain
A
day without the Lord
Is like taking without giving
Hating without loving
And dying without living…

Just
Thinking !!
I’m
trying to remember what I wanted to write
But my mind just doesn’t seem to see any light…
The
thoughts in my head don’t seem to match what’s in my heart
So just where do I go now
Just where do I start…
A
lot has happened in the days that have gone by
But trying to put them together on a page
Keeps me perplexed, and now I think I know why…
The
trials of life never seem to let up
They come in all forms and from all different directions
That to put them all in perspective
Makes for times of many quiet
reflections…
There
is always a reason why things happen you see
It may not seem clear to you nor to me…
But to the Lord it is for the greater of his plan and his time
And in this we have to believe and to trust, even the sublime…
I often look back at the tears that were shed
The words that were spoken and the hearts that have bled…
I
am shocked of the souls that have been taken in haste
Without thinking or caring but just laid to waste…
So
you see the answers are not easy to come by
They are somewhere in living and somewhere in dying..
For
only the good Lord knows the truth in the living
For HE is the one who has done all the giving...

MY
WALK
Yesterday
as I was composing a poem for all
I happened to pen a word or two and began to listen to the call...
Twas
the Walk with God and not just on Sunday
that stuck in my heart so strong...
That
I began to search my soul for the answer
to what was haunting me and what was so wrong...
My
Walk with God is not each and every day
and that I am ashamed to announce...
I
must admit that my mind does wander
and my thoughts do not always, in God, pronounce...
Deep
down in my soul
is a place, that I hold so very dear...
It's
the place that only God can see
and only He, can hear...
The
world around us is a wondrous sight
in its' worldly woes and cares and delights...
That
to stand so firm on ground and sea
is only in Him ...safe, we can spiritually be...
So
I can say with an honest heart
that today I will do my Christian best...
Not
to just walk with God on Sunday
but to walk in Him on all the rest...

THE GATHERING
What
once was summer has passed on by
And the new season has begun in a color...
Of
gold and brown , with an awesome Autumn sky
For this time of year is like no other...
Tis
the time of year to gather and store
just like the pilgrims and Indians who all came before...
The
coolers are shut down for the Fall/Winter season
and the heaters are readied just for this reason...
We
ready ourselves for the holidays that are near
and our tastebuds are all in the ready...
for
the vision of Turkies and Pumpkins and such
lend to the feeling that we may eat to much...
Reservations,
for planes and trains we may try
and maybe this year we=ll just go by car and not fly...
Family
is awaiting the rest of its= brood
to partake in the fellowship and devour the food...
This is the time of year that beckons life=s
reason
to give and to love in this special of seasons...
For
God gave us His love and His precious Son
who in turn gave His all ...to each and everyone...
We
wish you love and hope and peace
We
pray that you never go hungry...
We
pray that your life is full and complete
and
that your walk with God is
not just on
Sunday...
